REGISTERING
If this is your first time you will have to register. 

1. Go to upper right corner and click Register
2. Go ahead and put in your first name as login (I suggested just using the same login as the blog)
3. Territory Name insert the name of your project (Don’t worry if you are still deciding, you can go back and change it later)

NEW WORD
After you’ve registered or logged in, in the lower right hand corner you will see “New“.  Click it.

1. Put your word, and then select what part of speech it is.  Then select “Create“
2. It will change to a new screen.  Click “Add Narrative” and give it a definition of your own.
3. Click “Add Image” if you have a correlating image. 
4. Don’t worry about “Add TXT” right now, we will get to that later.

MAKE A NEW CATEGORY
Here is how to organize your posts.  First you need to create a category for your project.  When logged in, go to ‘manage’ tab, then click on categories.  Scroll down and Add Category.  Two things you need to do:

1. Title it with a “-”  hyphen at beginning, so it is easier to read. Title it with the name of you project.
2. Parent it under Projects
3. Just look at what the students who were at Sunday’s session did it.  Copy that.

FOR NEW POSTS
Use this post as an example.  Use this method to title it so it will be easier later on.

1. Put down the date created “06-22″
2. Put project title.  This will make it easier for us to sort it.
3. Under categories, check “Projects” and then your individual project name
4. When you are happy with the post, in the upper right corner, under “Publish Status” select Published and then click save.

INSERTING PICTURES
When creating a post, at the top of the “Post” section you will see where it says “Add media“.  Select the first button to the right, “Add an Image”. 

1. Click “Choose files to upload“
2. After it is done loading, some options will come up.  Title and Caption are what you see when you highlight over photos.  Make sure you adjust size to what you need, it will create a smaller version as needed.  Most of the time you will insert “Full Size”.
3. Click “Insert into Post“.  If you click save changes it only keeps the file, doesn’t put it in.

If you mess up the size and want to adjust it after it is inserted.  Select the picture and then click on the “Insert/Edit Picture” button which looks like a Tree (Not the “Add Image” we used before.  Here you can manually type in the size of the image.  Really useful if you are making a tiling of thumbnails.

INSERTING VIDEO
The easiest way to do this is to use YouTube.  You upload your YouTube video or you find one that you want.  When you are watching the video, in the upper right hand corner where it says the Poster and description, there is a small line that is titled “Embed” with what looks like jibberish after.

1. Select and Copy the embed line.
2. Go into your New Post on this website. 
3. In upper right corner, click the HTML Tab
4. Paste
5. Click back to Visual Tab.  You will see an orange box with a flash icon.  It will work fine once published.

Canal, n. 

1. An artificial waterway or artificially improved river used for travel, shipping, or irrigation.
2. Anatomy. A tube, duct, or passageway.
3. Astronomy. One of the faint, hazy markings resembling straight lines on early telescopic images of the surface of Mars.
